Position purpose:
To provide excellent customer service to our guests.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
(material responsibilities and essentials duties)o Demonstrate friendly and helpful service to all guests consistentlyo Greet and acknowledge every guesto Demonstrate solid product knowledge, including locations of productso Demonstrate solid knowledge of the company and other business location product options o Maintain an awareness of all merchandise promotions and advertisementso Suggest additional items to the guestso Handle difficult/challenging situations with a high level of professionalismo Complete housekeeping tasks, as neededThe responsibilities and duties are not limited to those mentioned above.
Qualifications:
(minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.
) o Able to follow verbal and written instructions, able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard.
Special Position Requirements:
(Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.
e.
chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.
)o Some exposure to cleaning products, (window cleaners, other chemicals as required)Work Requirements:
Actual physical work required, i.
e.
standing at cash register, loading items onto shelves, sitting, working at a computer, etc - include approximate amount of time per day-- N (Never), O (Occasionally up to 3 hrs per day), F (Frequently, 3 - 6 hrs per day), C (Constantly, 6 - 8
hrs per day), based on 8 hour shift.
) Standing/walking (serving wine) - CLifting up to 10 lbs - OLifting over 10 lbs - ODriving motorized vehicle (golf cart, forklift) - NRepetitive pushing/pulling (wiping, mopping, sweeping) - OClimbing, working from ladder or stepstool - NBending/stooping (stocking, merchandising, emptying trash, retrieving litter, etc) - OKneeling (merchandising, stocking, cleaning floors) - OReaching (stocking, merchandising, cleaning walls, windows, mirrors, etc) - OOverhead work (stocking, merchandising, cleaning walls, windows, changing light bulbs, etc.
