Description:
Responsible for the overall Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity for assigned department(s).
+ Accountable for providing accurate shipment forecasts and achieving on-time delivery to the forecast.
+ In conjunction with cross functional resources, prioritize and implement actions to optimize capacity.
+ Drives with sense of urgency the daily resolution of manufacturing quality and productivity problems with the required support functions.
+ Ensure personnel are kept informed of conditions, trends, and important activities affecting their area as well as daily results, quality issues and other business needs using QDIP and Production Readiness Review (PRR) as tools.
+ Maintain minimal inventory levels to meet customer commitments.
+ Develops and implements standard work documentation and work flow in all manufacturing cells.
+ Participates and/or leads events using FBS tools to drive lean improvements.
+ Optimizes the utilization of associates and ensures areas of responsibility are staffed with qualified associates.
+ Responsible for developing and cascading actionable objectives for all associate levels and drive accountability for execution and achievement.
+ Actively ensure training and development of assigned personnel to maximize productivity and efficiency in the areas of responsibility.
+ Ensures employees with potential are being developed so that qualified successors are available for key positions within the organization.
+ Responsible for operating within all budgets including achieving product cost/margin forecasts.
+ Responsible to permeate the 5Why process in the daily standard work of the manufacturing.
+ Responsible for leading the PSP (Problem Solving Process) for manufacturing operating targets
+ Champion company initiatives including Safety Programs, and All Star Program, among others.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ BS Degree in related field.
+ 7 years of experience in production management preferred.
+ Strong business acumen in manufacturing; demonstrated knowledge of lean/advance manufacturing practices, use of statistical process controls.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
+ Strong problem solving skills.
+ Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
