Electronics Production Supervisor:
The Electronics Production Supervisor ensures that products are manufactured to meet internal goals while meeting the quality and delivery expectations of our customers whether internal or external.
This position requires a passion and understanding for Lean, Six Sigma, 5-S, development of employees, and driving continuous improvement. Relationship building skills are a must with a disciplined and organized approach to leading each day. The experienced candidate will be involved with the safety efforts of the organization, participate in Kaizen activities and drive employee engagement.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, workflow and resource allocation.
Resolve all issues directly affecting employees, production and/or customer schedules in a timely manner.
Ensure production employees are properly trained and OJT records are maintained and submitted when completed.
Ensure OJT where applicable and work closely with the building training coordinator
Ensure work instructions are followed and employees are properly trained..
Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to procedures and work instructions.
Ensure that the buildings you are responsible for comply with their designated FOD requirements as required.
Implements and sustains standard work in manufacturing cells in order to support customer requirements.
Clearly communicates goal expectations, status, and gaps, as well as countermeasures by use of Visual and Daily Management.
Generates and maintains building and manufacturing cell score cards to communicate performance to plan.
Responsible for addressing any engagement opportunities identified during Employee Engagement Surveys.
Serves as an FBS Champion spearheading FBS efforts in the building such as: Standard Work events, Kanban, PSP, (Problem Solving Process), Visual and Daily Management, among others.
Ensure all employees comply with Attendance and Safety Policy Procedures.
BS degree in Electronics Engineering and /or Industrial Engineering with experience in the PWB/PWA industry.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years recent supervisory experience.
Ability to apply sound judgment and execution as well as how to formulate effective long-term corrective actions.
Skilled communicator both written and verbal.
Effective in using problem solving methodologies, strong organization and project management skills.
Understanding of team dynamics.
Working knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Skilled in the interpretation of assembly drawings.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Agile, Visual and Crystal.
Cornerstone Experience:
Knowledge of Manufacturing of PWB, Assembly of PWA, IPC-610, and J-STD-001 standards
Knowledge of Mil-Std-883 (Components), and Mil-DTL-3899 (Connectors)
Qualification of new production processes
Surface Mounting Technology, (SMT), In-Circuit Testing, (ICT), Final Testing, (FCT), and QC/QA of Electronic components, and Mechanical Assembly.
Hand soldering and electro-mechanical assembly
Optimizing work efficiency
Managing multiple product lines, people, capacity, utilization, and productivity
Drive manufacturing safety, quality, cycle time, on-time-delivery, and reduction of past due backlog.
Training and developing employees
Managing employee performance
Use Problem Solving methodologies,
Implementing and sustaining Electrostatic Prevention Practices
Compliance with FOD Awareness and Preventive Measures
Experience working cross-functionally and with customers
Experience in analysis of data and reporting KPI
Experience leading Kaizen activities, and use of Problem Solving Tools
Experience in developing and implementing Visual Management
Experience in conducting Daily Accountability Meetings and drive actions to timely resolution

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
