Operations Manager

Responsible for the overall Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity for the assigned department(s). Provide leadership to direct staff and cross-functional team members in all activities associated with the manufacturing environment.
Formulate and implement departmental short and long-term plans consistent with company objectives for assigned department(s).
Achieve operating performance targets and improvements including cost reductions, reduced cycle times and reduced lead times..
Accountable for providing accurate shipment forecasts and achieving forecast.
Maintain minimal inventory levels.
Ensure effective Daily Management and Operation Readiness Reviews.
Provide for the optimum utilization of associates. Ensure that areas are staffed with competent associates and cross-training plans are implemented.
Coaches and mentors direct reports.
Actively work development plans for all associates.
Lead the application of FBS within the operations organization.
Develop and implement standard work documentation and work flow in all manufacturing cells.
In conjunction with cross functional resources, develop optimum capacity, efficiency, and profitability through the facilities and equipment improvements.
BS Degree in Business, Management or Engineering.
7 years of experience in manufacturing/operations with previous management responsibility required.
Strong knowledge of production processes in a lean manufacturing environment..
Experience with Fortive Business System (FBS), Toyota Production System or other continuous improvement system with demonstrated results using Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication and effective facilitation skills.
Previous Ordnance experience is a plus.
Strong managerial/supervisor experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
